How should I prepare for my consultation?
Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face if possible. It’s helpful to have a general idea of your skin concerns and goals, as well as a list of any medications you are taking and the skincare products you currently use.

Facials & Skin Treatments
What is a HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial is a medical-grade hydradermabrasion treatment that provides a 3-in-1 experience: deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, and intense hydration. It is an excellent monthly treatment to improve overall skin health and is our most requested facial in South Surrey.
How is a medical-grade chemical peel different from an at-home peel?
Our clinical-strength peels use professional-grade acids at higher concentrations to deeply exfoliate the skin, targeting concerns like acne, pigmentation, and fine lines. They are administered by trained professionals to ensure safety and superior results.
What is microneedling and what does it treat?
Microneedling is a collagen induction therapy that uses fine, sterile needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates your body’s natural healing response, promoting the production of new collagen and elastin to improve scars, wrinkles, and texture.
Can you treat active acne?
Yes, we offer several effective treatments for active acne, including clarifying facials, specific chemical peels, and light-based therapies. A consultation will help us determine the best course of action for your skin.
What treatments are best for pigmentation and melasma?
We offer a range of solutions for pigmentation, from advanced laser skin rejuvenation to specialized chemical peels and targeted skincare. The best treatment for you depends on the type and depth of your pigment, which we will assess during your consultation.
I have sensitive skin and rosacea. Do you have treatments for me?
Absolutely. We offer gentle, calming facials and specific light-based therapies designed to reduce redness and inflammation associated with rosacea and sensitivity. We always customize our approach to protect and strengthen your skin barrier.
Laser & Light Treatments
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal provides significant long-term hair reduction, with most clients experiencing up to 90% less hair after a full course of treatments. Some clients may require occasional maintenance sessions once or twice a year to maintain their results.
How many sessions are needed for laser hair removal in White Rock?
Typically, 6 to 8 sessions are needed, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart, to effectively target hair in its active growth phase. The exact number of sessions depends on the treatment area, hair type, and skin tone.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snap, similar to a rubber band. Our advanced laser systems feature integrated cooling technology to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment.
What is laser skin rejuvenation?
Laser skin rejuvenation uses focused light energy to gently heat the deeper layers of the skin. This process stimulates collagen production, helping to improve fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, and overall skin texture with minimal downtime.
What should I avoid before a laser treatment?
You should avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 2-4 weeks before your laser appointment. You should also stop using any exfoliating products (like retinoids or acids) on the treatment area 3-5 days prior.
Can I get laser treatments if I have a tan?
For your safety, we cannot perform most laser treatments on tanned or sunburnt skin. The excess pigment in tanned skin can attract laser energy, increasing the risk of adverse effects.
Devices & Advanced Skin Treatments
What is Morpheus8 RF microneedling and who is it for?
Morpheus8 combines radiofrequency energy with microneedling to remodel collagen and improve the skin’s firmness, smoothness, and tone. It’s ideal for anyone seeking to address fine lines, acne scars, skin laxity, or uneven texture—on the face or body.
How does LaseMD or Ultra LaseMD differ from traditional laser resurfacing?
LaseMD and Ultra LaseMD are non-ablative fractional lasers that deliver powerful skin renewal with minimal downtime. Unlike traditional ablative lasers, they gently stimulate new collagen and target pigmentation, making them suitable for melasma, sun damage, and textural concerns—even for those with busy lifestyles.
What concerns does PicoSure Pro skin revitalization address?
PicoSure Pro uses ultra-short laser pulses to target unwanted pigmentation, sun spots, freckles, and acne scars. It’s also popular for overall skin tone and texture improvement, delivering visible rejuvenation without extended downtime.
What is an IPL Photo Facial best for?
An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photo Facial treats redness, visible capillaries, brown spots, and sun damage. This light-based therapy can even out skin tone and improve overall clarity, especially for those struggling with pigmentation or vascular issues.
What is Venus Versa TriBella therapy?
Venus Versa TriBella is a three-in-one facial treatment that combines IPL, RF skin tightening, and nano-fractional resurfacing. It’s excellent for clients looking for comprehensive facial rejuvenation, as it improves tone, texture, and tightness in a single session.
How often should I do chemical peels or microneedling?
For most clients, chemical peels can be done every 4–6 weeks, while microneedling is often recommended every 4–8 weeks, depending on skin goals and sensitivity. Your provider will advise on the best plan during your personalized consultation.
What is non-invasive body contouring?
Non-invasive body contouring treatments use technologies like radiofrequency (RF) energy to reduce fat, tighten skin, and improve the appearance of cellulite without surgery or downtime.
How does skin tightening work?
Our skin tightening treatments use energy-based devices to gently heat the underlying tissue. This heat causes existing collagen fibers to contract and stimulates the body to produce new collagen, resulting in firmer, smoother skin over time.
Is permanent makeup really permanent?
Permanent makeup (PMU) is considered semi-permanent. It is implanted into the upper layers of the skin and will gradually fade over time. We recommend touch-up appointments every 1 to 3 years to maintain the color and shape.
Do you offer tattoo removal?
Yes, our laser clinic in White Rock is equipped with advanced picosecond laser technology for tattoo removal. This technology shatters ink particles more effectively, often requiring fewer sessions than older laser systems.
Aftercare & Results
What is the typical downtime after a treatment like microneedling?
Downtime varies by treatment intensity. For microneedling in South Surrey, you can expect mild redness and swelling for 24-48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth recovery.
What products should I use after my treatment?
We will recommend a post-treatment skincare regimen tailored to your procedure. Generally, you should use a gentle cleanser, a hydrating serum, a simple moisturizer, and most importantly, a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen.
When will I see results?
Some treatments, like a HydraFacial, offer instant results. Others, like laser rejuvenation or microneedling, rely on your body’s natural regenerative process, with results appearing gradually over several weeks or months.
How can I maintain my results?
Consistent professional treatments, a dedicated homecare regimen using medical-grade products, and diligent sun protection are the keys to maintaining and enhancing your results long-term.
Can I combine different treatments?
Yes, combination therapy is often the most effective approach. Our experts can design a plan that safely stacks or alternates treatments to address multiple concerns and maximize your results.
Booking, Policies & Pricing
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
What happens if I am late for my appointment?
Please call us if you are running late. While we will do our best to accommodate you, arriving late may result in a shortened treatment time to ensure we remain on schedule for our next client.
Do you have a minimum age for treatments?
Clients must be 18 years or older to receive most treatments. Some services, such as teen facials for acne, may be available for clients under 18 with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
